I heard about this post by a customer. I checked out the website and had to join. I have tumbled for years. My wife and I are JS GEMS Co. We are primarily gem show dealers and specialize in quality lapidary equipment at a discount. I'm glad to find a source of "how to" for my beginning tumbling customers. I asked my web person to link our sites.

Howdy and thanks for the nice replies. I should have my website (jsgemslapidary.com) linked by tomorrow so Kev can check my prices. I try to stay below K/N and the "BIG DOGS" by at least a few dollars. I have a few items on sale trying to be the lowest price on the web. Not very profitable but I am building a loyal customer base. My advantage over the big guys is I actually use the equipment I sell and am not afraid to give customers my opinion on any of the brands I distribute. You also don't get some underpaid employee when you call in an order (you get the underpaid owners). My web prices are very competitive. I sell many items not on the website. Any member of this group will get a nice discount on anything they order. Thanks to all for making me feel welcome.

Hi John- Kinda been watching you on the site- and I appreciate your honesty and expertese(sp) and your willingness to share info. I also got to compliment you on walking the fine line between sharing info and advertising- congrates on doing a fine job- and next time I get a Lapidary buying urge I will give you a visit (well your site I mean)!
