Pretty day out, needed a break, so I took a lunchtime walk downtown to get some fresh air. Stopped off at a hole in the wall jewelry shop I've passed by many times. The owner cuts, cabs and sets a lot of KY agate. He had spheres, carvings, beads, polished halves and just about anything else you can do with rock. Here are a few less than stellar photos.
Polished half. Pricey!
Rare to get a cab this big without a fracture. Especially red and black.

The 3rd one down, were it darker, looks very similar to Bear Canyon material.

They are outstanding. The 3rd one down, were it darker, looks very similar to Bear Canyon material. I thought so, too. Like the one rockhoundoz posted. Crazy, the different looks. |
