That material is wonderful Rocklicker!! Excellent patterns and really attractive colours, looks somehow reminicent of ocean jasper in it's orbyness, very very nice. There seems to be a good variation in patterning also, theres going to be some exciting cabs coming I can't wait!! Thanks for sharing them Steve.
Cheers,
Harry.

Very nice. What are the other types found in CA. Hopefully we'll get to see what this project is too..

Ooh! Very unusual looking poppy jasper! Really like the patterns on the second and third pieces. Very complex poppies. Odd how north of San Francisco Bay more of the yellow poppy jasper shows up. Much of the Napa County/Pope Valley stuff has that appearance as well as most I've seen from the Eel River area further north. Then, in the Sierras, yellow becomes very rare and reds, pinks and purples are dominant. And the furthest north deposits in Oregon , Olympic Penninsula, Washington etc, go back to the Sierra Forms again with the reds being dominant. Meanwhile Morgan Hill has lots of yellows, reds, green etc but almost no pinks. All from those same Jurassic rocks. Very cool and interesting....Mel

These are very nice. I like material with the poppies and orbs. It reminds me or OJ also. Looking forward to the cabs.

You got an excellent selection there, I didn't realize that Robyn's PJ had such variation. I've bought from Julie-Tom before and been very happy with my purchases. Good seller. -Don
