A neighbor who is the local "junk/tool/metal dealer", is modifying cement mixers to become large batch tumblers. He showed me two he has up and running. Both were in various tumble stages and seemed to be working great. He has two other units in progress for sale. One with the pulley attached is $475.00. One without the pulley is $450.00. He said a motor from an old washing machine works great. Both of these units will need 1-3 holes in the mixer repaired. Neither has a motor. These are located on HWY 54, East of Plover, WI. If anyone is interested in learning more, I can scan his business card and PM it to you. Have no idea if this is a good price or not. If they are basically junk he is trying to make money on, etc. All I asked was if he had any rock tumblers on his 10+ acre grounds and he showed me these. Not quite what I was looking for, but he asked me to spread the word.

I wouldn't mind having the info. Not interested in the tumblers but I like going to scrap yards for building materials. Only 1 I know of/go to atm, so another option would be nice.
Thanks

My dad had a cement mixer like that I don’t think that old one would make a good Tumbler

The term Rock Tumbler Is a Broad word looking @ these Machines. Those might be good In tumbling steel Parts or pipes. Sometime You Just have to throw them away

Sometime You Just have to throw them away I asked if he had any rock tumblers, and this is what he showed me for sale. Found it very interesting that he had the others, with rocks in process, which he was tumbling. The contents looked great.
