Check out the auctions on ebay: search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZrunningfreakI'll have more listed as fast as I can. The flat rate boxes from the post office haven't arrived yet. Any of you old timers out there remember anything of mine that you want shoot me a pm. I am also getting rid of my tumblers. A Lortone QT-12 - It has less than 12-months of duty. Bought for $145 - asking $70 +shipping. Barrel has never leaked. And a Gy-Roc model A with 4 hoppers and a lapping plate. I only used it for 5 or 6 weeks - I know, I know... stupid. Bought for just shy of $500 - asking $400. Very nice piece of equipment. You stop buy to pick them up, I'll throw in grit, polish, ceramic tumbling media... and some rocks. I'll get some pictures up if I can't find the old thread of my workshop...

Here is the pic: Lortone on the far left. Gy-Roc just to its right with the lapping plate on it. Extra hoppers on shelves. And all the rocks I'm gonna be selling all around.

I'd love to take that QT-12 off your hands Toad, i've been looking for a larger capacity tumbler for a back-burner project/idea i've been working on. ...Oh, but alas, I live in the land of ice and snow... CANADA...where things cost more to send to or from for no apparent reason. If I recall the QT-12 I saw in The Rockhound Shop correctly, I may not be able to afford the shipping though. The rear motor bushing in my 3A just crapped out and now my 33b is acting up on me too so I am starting to get concerned I might not be able to keep up with my quota. ;D

Very strange, the person bidding on all of them has never bid on rocks before!

Hi Redhead. If you're referring to tootiehambone, she has bought at least 6 boxes of rocks from me over the past year. If it is someone else, I don't know...

LCARS, someone has already asked for the Lortone. I have to box it up and find what the shipping is first to see if they are still interested...

I just went back to the feedback left for tootiehambone, and I was wrong. She only bought 4 boxes of rocks from me. Hi Redhead. If you're referring to tootiehambone, she has bought at least 6 boxes of rocks from me over the past year. If it is someone else, I don't know...

Todd, why are you selling all of your stuff? Does that mean you will be leaving the board too? Whats up?

I can't believe no one bid on the thundereggs yet. There are some really nice ones too. Well you all have until Sunday evening to take a look.
I'll be posting some more almost freebie stuff over the next few days on the general board. Keep an eye out.

Hey Toad - I'm a little late here...but have you sold all your grit? I could use a bit more of the rough grind grit 60/90 and 46/70 and if you have II stage 220 I could also use that. Let me know how much you want for it.

p..s. if you have parts for your 12lb Lortone. I could also use those.

Another year later.. Todd I'm curious, do you regret selling off all your stuff? Maybe starting over again fresh kinda takes you back to the original thrill of getting into the hobby in the first place (<- does that make sense?) LOL! Just wondering. I guess it could be good to start again from scratch. I know I got some nice stuff in the couple boxes I bought from you. In any case it's good to see you back on the boards!

Thanks, beef. Yes, some regrets. But I think I'm being much smarter on start-up this time. Doing the research and waiting for deals on rough. Thinking about changing my rotary tumbler this time around and going one size up on the vibe. Still have my butcher block workbench and my hammer/chisels. Hope to be rolling again soon.
But on the upside, the money I made when getting out helped me get some nice weapons/equipment for my martial arts training. Been doing that for a year and a half now. That's keeping me in shape when I'm not sitting on my butt at a computer.
Stocking up on rough. Tumbler is next. Is that backwards??

Yeah I think if I had it to do over I would probably focus a little more on rough going in. Now I have 2 Lortone 33B's and not alot of money to get rough. Good thing a batch takes so long or I would have tumblers with nothing to fill them. Just got my first batch out of the polish yesterday. I believe it was 8 weeks start to finish.
