A couple of months ago I spotted a CL add for 'Coprolite from a T-Rex dig' for $100. The picture wasn't very good, but it appeared to have cell structure and resembled bone more than coprolite. I responded and learned the seller was a female doctor from Scottsdale who had picked this up many years ago traveling through New Mexico and simply didn't want it anymore (she also had a nice rainbow pet wood log for sale). I drove out and checked it out, saw that it was indeed bone, and bought it from her. Solid 26 pounds, with a nice contour polish.  back side     Pretty display piece and I'm rather pleased with my purchase. Thanks for looking! |
