Is that white stuff in pic 1 a spiderweb? Gnarly, indeed! little brown spider that bailed when i picked it up. the nest will stay on the rock and let hatch what will. Outside of course!

Definitely not a widow. I was wrong. rockpickerforever will be able to identify. Jean the little red spiders make a nest to sleep in and hunt around rock piles. Are they "huntsman"?

There's another one in the bottom middle of the second picture, now that I know what to look for. I think those eggs already hatched!
