After the excellent post on baby Brazilian agates by Garage Rocker, I ordered 25 lbs. of them from Kingsley North. At that quantity, they're only $1.80 per pound, so I figured I had nothing to lose. I got them today, and I thought I'd post a picture. They were advertised as being one pound or less. I found two that were over a pound, which is disappointing, but not the end of the world. I was hoping for tumble size or tumble sized after cutting in half. Many of the rocks are flattened, not spherical. I'm not sure if this is good or bad, but I was expecting more spherical rocks. It seems like they would show more banding when cut in half. But for $1.80 a pound, I think this was a good deal.
