A good client of mine was looking through some old work and asked me to make another of these "fancy" ones.  That was a huge pendant. (It sold to a bride.) For my client, I decided to go a bit smaller. Sorry for the bad picture. I just finished it.  The cab was only 35mm long. I like the smaller size. I changed a few things that bugged me about the original, too. But, I think it is similar enough that she will like it. I'll be taking better pictures tomorrow. Beautiful Tela! Very elegant. I particularly like the modification of the spirals on top with the shortened downward falls... AND the clean way you hung the pearl bead... AND... AND... AND... Lets just say I like it a LOT!
What type of stone? (It almost looks like one I did a cab from lately - Angelite Anhydrite)

Yes, it is angleite angelite. The blue is more or less saturated according to the light.
I have since changed out the pearl for a smaller one. Still has a nice end cap, though.

The wrap really complements that stone so well! I agree that all of the little tweaks that you made really make the new pendant stand out.

I don't often try to duplicate pieces, but she's a very good client. I couldn't say no- plus, it gave me a chance to fix some of the things I didn't like. |
