I like that last one. That first one has an interesting color too. Is that copper in it? As far as I know it's not copper. It's called a Ruin Agate. The other half can be seen at the Beaver Bay Agate Museum. It is an amazing find. I keep trying to get some off from him, but he doesn't part with them easily.

I need to get back up there and find some agates. Was in the area as a kid. It is such an incredible area. I try to get up there every time I go home. It always amazes me how much the landscape changes.

That first one is really cool too. Every once in a while here we find one like that...looks like a conglomerate of several different agates, with no rhyme or reason to the pattern. Cool.

I believe iron oxide hydroxide is the red in most agates. The green being a very similar molecule.... Yellow too! And purple!
