& there is a ton of iron up there. And a ton of iron containing agates. All those red ones are iron also. I believe iron oxide hydroxide is the red in most agates. The green being a very similar molecule.... Yellow too! And purple! Never wear white when swimming in the pits/lakes in the Mesabi range |
