Over this past weekend, my wife and I were in Salt Lake City. We decided to visit a rock shop there, so we went to Rockpick Legend Co. I just have to say that I could've spent days and days in that shop. They have a really great selection of rough and tumbled stone as well as a few cabs and lapidary tools. The owners were super nice and really knowledgable. It just so happens that while we were there, the Travel Channel was shooting a segment there. Apparently, the owner of the shop had taken them to a nearby favorite agate site of his and dug some rock, then they went back to the shop and put together some display specimens. Never did find out when it will air, though. I ended up buying some freeform stones (wildwest agate, rainforest rhyolite, variquoise, chevron amethyst, joy agate, rhodonite, rainbow chert, snowflake obsidian, carnelian, and tiger eye) I'll get pics of them soon. They have a website too. www.rocks4u.com/I would highly recommend them. I know I'll be doing business with them in the future. Thanks for reading. ;D Rus

Nothing better than a good rock shop! I wonder if they were shooting the Cash & Treasures show, the new season is coming.

That moonstone agate sure looks an awful lotlike this snakeskin agate I bought out in Quartzite last year. I guess different names for different areas. Here's mine. And if you scroll down you'll find the moonstone agate. shop.rocks4u.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWCATS&Category=111Ooops. Sorry it turned out so big. If anyone knows how to make is smaller, please feel free to do so. I also couldn't get them to come here either, but the moonstone agates are there. Condor

You can share files through Windows (MSN) Messenger and Yahoo Messenger. The simple program "Paint" (included with the Windows operating system) can resize images, using the Stretch feature. Here's a link to the "GNU Image Manipulation Program" (GIMP), which is a very good open-source FREEWARE program: www.gimp.org/

I use Microsoft Office Picture Manager which comes with Office. Makes it real easy to resize.
