I am a member of RTH. When I go to sign in, I get this message *** on a plain white page. This has been going on for over a week. I can not even try and re-register, as I get this same message. This is what I get: *** "This site can't be reached"
"loginproboards.com unexpectedly closed the connection."
ERR_CONNECTION CLOSED
This is all I can see or get.
I am sending this from my wife's computer as I no longer have any access to sign in on mine. HELP!

Are you logging into forum.rocktumblinghobby.com or forum.rocktumblinghobby.com/ ? On Firefox on my laptop only the 2nd one works consistently, on my PC with chrome both work fine.

I've checked the Proboards support board and I don't see any active reports of anything similar. Has it corrected for you? As Lee said, make sure you're logging in to forum.rocktumblinghobby.com and fix all browser bookmarks if necessary. Attempts to log in to the old forum.rocktumblinghobby.com are only redirected to forum.rocktumblinghobby.com

Hi Tommy, Thanks for effort to see what is going on with my log-on issue. I am back on my wife's computer, as that is the only way that I can log-on, reply, etc. I am still having the same issue. I tried the andy321, and I get the same response. I have no ideal what is going on, as it just started a week ago and remains the same. I do not have any issues with any other sites. I thought that maybe if I re-registered I could get by the glitch, but I get the same message when I try to register.
I can access the site, but I can not log-on which means I cannot participate on the site. I guess reading the posts it better than nothing, but I sometimes like to ask a question, or add my two cents worth. I have done everything I know and lots of other stuff in order to try and find the issues source, but nothing works so far.
Thanks, Chuck "grizman"

Dag nabbit ... is there any way you can send me a screen shot of the error message? I'll post it on the support site and see if they have any ideas.

Hi to all my friends on RTF who have worked so hard to get me back on the site as a registered poster. I have done almost everything short of taking the computer fully apart, and 99.9999% of it all was to no avail. And then, I went to a anti-virus site called AVAST. I shut everything down on that application and then gave it another shot. HERE I AM! Happier than a pig in mud! I have no idea what it was that keep me off of anything related to proboard, but shutting down AVAST seems to have done the trick. I'm pretty sure that anyone with even a lick of sense has not missed me, but I sure have missed you folks. Watch out now, as I'M BACK!

I used to use avast but quit years ago. If I remember it was interacting with something at the time.

I didn't care for Avast either when I had it.

Welcome back grizman! Glad you got that figured out - I actually have been worried about it.
