Hi everyone,
I'm steve...I was interested in any information anyone has on fossil hunting in Arizona. I have been all over my area of northwestern Arizona with no luck on fossils...although there is an abundance of other rocks, gems and minerals in this area.
thanks
Steve

Well, petrified wood is a fossil tree. No?
Our OP didn't say what class of fossils they seek.

There are supposed to be all kinds of fossils near Payson, AZ. I've gotten a few small cherry clams and some coral from there but didn't really go out to get fossils.

I would love to find a spot where dinosaur fossils are found. I know of one spot in ladonia, texas that I am going to, on my next trip to florida.
Does anyone in Utah know of any dino dig spots?
