Look pretty darn good as is! 2 days in a rotary? Probably 2-3 weeks in the rotary. Tomorrow morning will be 3 days in the vibe. I have been trying to polish glass and obsidian repeatably for a long time. Lots-n-lots of tries. Looks like I found a way. It's not a normal reaction but am ecstatic simply because it is a goal I have been chasing for a long time.

Mine certainly don't get anywhere close to this after that short a time!

Rotary runs take as long as your last run to get the job done well. 2 to 3 months start to finish is about normal. The vibe will do your 120/220-500-polish much quicker. a suggested purchase.

Maybe you have found the solution to put a polish on it now!
Ecstatic! What a fun word, lol.

I've thought for a long time that education gets in the way of too many guesses, common sense wins. Great job on both kinds of glass.

Common sense and basic knowledge of vibration mechanics goes a long way. That 14 pound Vibrasonic hopper could probably use use a 4 inch wide X 3/16" steel plate about 14 inches long under the hopper to numb the vibration for softer rocks.
