Got a killer polish on the flat faces. But the edges are frosted with about a 500 grit finish. Attributing frosted edges to running it with bigger rocks in the vibe. A good candidate for small media only-small pieces of fluorite only, and no larger rocks in the batch whatsoever.

What was your method? I’d love to be able to shine that stuff up.

What was your method? I’d love to be able to shine that stuff up. Probably need your Lot-O for the AO 220 and AO 14,000 steps but I would do a normal rotary tumble to shape. AO 220 for 2 days. Watch for quick mud build up. AO 14,000 for 1 day I used small polished agate media(1/2" and smaller) Rob, not sure about ceramic media. Fluorite 1 inch and smaller for first load. Suggest 50 to 60% media. The Lot-O should do well with the AO 220. Cheap fused AO 220 from Ebay will do. I bought 10 pounds for about $25 and I'll never use it up. www.ebay.com/itm/10-LBS-White-Fused-Alumina-Aluminum-Oxide-220-Grit-Sand-Blasting/111849277529?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649ETA Try to get fluorite without fractures. Not easy to find and not cheap. Small crystals would be best for quality.

I’m surprised that you went from 220 right to polish. I’ll have to give it a try.
