what are some good ways to wrap small shark teeth? technical details like
wire types, designs, clasp attachments etc
earrings, pendants.......
I have a small box full of teeth I want to give to some kids, and was thinking of various crafts to interest them in
I've read this forum but have never wrapped anything.

If they're as small as the ones my wife and kids used to pick up on Florida beaches, I think you'll want to use very thin wire. 24 or 26 gauge.
You can find lots of examples of wrapped shark teeth by doing a Google image search.

I have done a few of x small to x medium size. Chose an antiqued bronze for some, as it blended in with the natural color. Some teeth had a green tint to them, so chose to put a patina on some copper. The wire ended up with a little contrast to the teeth, but blended nicely. Others, I put a patina on silver, so the wire was the same color as the teeth. I have never wrapped teeth with anything with much contrast. For the x small, I used 28 gauge wires for the actual wrap. The bail was a 16 gauge. A little solder to attach the wrap wire to the bail. Do not have photos of any of these, as it was long ago, aka pre-digital era, lol. Still have about 10 teeth in my stash. Hope this helps. .
