Greetings gang, My IntroSome of Grandpas slabs: Small Slabs Rocks with a slab cut off, large: Larger Slabs Rocks with slabs cut off, small Large piece of Jade? It's large I really like this one This is a pretty one Scratched but Shiny, needs some work I did not cut any of these, these are Grandpas slabs that I got from my uncle. Thanks for looking. Aaron

Thanks! This is just a part of what I got!!!! These were the ones in the buckets, milk crates outside of my Uncles House for a few years I might add. I brought them in and washed them up and separated them. I also put pictures of my machines in the lapidary section.
I have a huge imagination, I eventually want to try a map of the USA with the rocks. I would like to make some grips for my Colt Commander and make some cabs in different sizes and shapes for family. Maybe get into wire wrapping.....

Wonderful slabs. I was fortunate to get some rocks from my dad recently and am sure you will get some great feelings from working with your granddads material.

Nice slabs for cabbing and tumbling...I spotted a beautiful Polka Dot mine (Oregon) agate in the bunch too..Cool!

The red polka dotted one? Yeah, I think they are all west coast finds. As far as I know, Grandpa never bought any rocks, all found.
Got me going. I usually have baggy pants at the beach from all the gems I find.
I'm always looking down when we hike, to look for rocks and to keep from tripping on my own feet!
