Awesome! I love how the shpere shape allows a better appreciation of some features than the cab shape. Like the tubes on the palm and the eye on Brazillian #2. Really awesome stones!

Anyone wanna buy my sphere machines? Mine are just sitting and I'm losing interest with this world class stuff from Roger!
Is this last one "youngite"? That crazy druzy cave rings that bell. Amazing!

Hoboy
Do you charge to make those? Can I send you rocks? Is 2" the only size you can do?

Hoboy Do you charge to make those? Can I send you rocks? Is 2" the only size you can do? I have only made a few custom orders so far. Yes; I do charge to make them. I can make approximately 1-1/2" to 8" spheres with the cups I currently have. The price varies wildly and is dependent on the size, material, if I have to do all the preforming, and time frame. It also depends on the material quality. I am burning through a lot of mediocre material to get it out of the way. I don't post photos of those lol. I really don't want to work on common materials now that the machine has paid for itself. I cut a lot of 2"-3" spheres because they are the ones that sell easier. It is a very popular size. I am in the planning stages of a build for a machine to handle up to 18"-24", but; it may stay in planning. The machine wouldn't be ridiculously expensive to build. The cups would be brutal and preforming stone that size would be a real pain in the ass... ROger

Love all of them! The shine you got on those agates is amazing.
Where in the world did you find a piece of Louisiana opal large enough to make a sphere out of? That stuff is almost impossible to get a hold of!

I think he used a hand operated three head unit to surf over the surface of the stone. The stone rotating on truck tires at least one or two of which were driven. 12' was likely the largest cube he could import! ETA Found him. He is called www.waterfountains.com and is still in Apple Valley, CA. This image shows how the make the giant preforms
