Check out this link: www.sfmgeology.com/JamaicaGeology3.htmlIf you go to jamaca it appears that the cretaceous is fossiliferous. The Geologic map shows the Cretaceous you would need to overlay with a road map. Unfortunately it mentions no agate, Though Bauxite is listed. Have fun.

It always amazes me how many people do not look down and check out the rocks at their feet for something pretty. Glad you sound some keepers. Was it hard to bring it back?

Mel, Jamaica ya friends proud.
I never would have suspected the obsidian. The Porphyry (Chinese Writing rock) is nice. It is hard to tell if some of the green and black/green rocks are jaspers. they look like jaspers hope they are solid and take a great polish.

Wow, lots of potential there! That little round white one with the green (moss agate?) lines in it looks the most promising to me! And the round crayola jasper type could be great too! Hurry up and cut 'em!

Hurry up and cut 'em! I moved my Saw into our unattached garage and forgot to close the door last night BRRRRR 29 degrees in Mississippi this Christmas morning!! Went into the shop and cut heaters on full blast so my cigs don’t freeze while smoking 😂😂
