jamespNothing but hard stones in the load. Mostly agate with a few quartz and jasper. Smalls were previously polished pea size and smaller. (I save all the chips and spalls when cutting/shaping.) Really surprised at how aggressive the 120/220 was. Next time I'm going to use graded SiC 220 and maybe run for less time. I've been paying attention to your AO 220 comments. But...a few months ago I bought the remaining stock when the local rock shop was liquidating its abrasives. I have enough SiC 220 to last me another year. (I also got a few pounds of SiC 600. Not sure what I'll ever use it for, but it was part of the negotiated package deal.)

Haven't used the SiC 220 in a long time. The AO 220 has aggression for about 24 hours, plenty enough to skin off rough rotary marks. I have been leaning towards slightly softer small pea gravel crystalline quartz over the harder small agate media. It makes a delightful slurry quickly with the less aggressive AO 220. Looking forward to your maiden voyage.

You don't need to miss us guys melhill1659, spread your wings and pay us a visit once in a while. You uppity intarsians are a sub category of the R(Tumbling)H. The tumblers of this world rule the RTH. Most of us don't get paid to look good though. But we do try harder. I’ll be coming through again before you know it. WH will be starting back up in April. First I have to get through the holidays. My moms off all next week. She an I will be revamping my camper. Sewing box cushions and curtains. Then off to Quartzite with my sister! I’ve managed to bow my Tumbler B 15 pounder 😂 I’ll need to add braces and square it up again before it can be used. I swear I’m going to build my own heavy duty tumbler barrel rollers/machine one day! Of course I even have very high hopes to start creating jewelry again. Wow where does the time go? Beware Quartzite. Will never be the same lol. Just come on. I'll leave the light on. I do want to see you and Mom's mods to the camper. I am about to buy a newer truck, Tundra with 350,000 miles. New truck to make longer trips and hopefully build me an off road bad boy pull behind camper.

Energy comes with new founded Enthusiasm over future adventures! Stay young an alive digging up the next Best Coral found Ever, walking over the next hill in the canyon tripping over the most beautiful pet wood you’ve ever seen, traveling far an away in search of Whatever it may be that day and getting to share all of THAT with friends that get just as excited!!! That is where I pull my Energy from. Now my old body on the other hand hates me for those adventures sometimes 😂 Some of the guys(gender neutral) have seen me pack 50lbs of rock on my back while still picking up more on the way back to the truck to unload it zarguy orrum catmandewe Tommy @jeanie @shotgunner but 7 large, almost taller than me, boxes full of Clearance Material Mom an I were digging in yesterday, in search of the perfect matching color to My sisters camper bunk curtains, whooped my butt!!! I had a great time with an eager eyed captbob at the Rio. He was kid in cookie jar too and a real go getter. Must have stomped 50 miles in that week carrying the loot. Smart rock collector too. Used common sense and figured best ways.
