M sister recently started making pebble art from Lake Superior stones. I visit her up in the Keweenaw Peninsula almost every summer and we go rock hunting. She wasn’t really into rocks until I started going up there looking for rocks. She was nice enough to ask around and find some good beaches and now she also enjoys walking the beaches for rocks. I haven’t been able to get her into lapidary stuff, but I’m really impressed with her pebble art. Lake Superior Pebble Art |

Wow! Those are really, really nice! Great compositions and creativity. Can't say as I've seen anything like them. She's totally into rocks, obviously, just not the way you are.  |
