I started flint Knapping several years ago, but stopped. Now, I would like to get back into it at the beginner stage. Does anyone on here do This for a hobby?
Is there a Thread or post on here that deals with Flint Knapping?
thanks Steve

I've been flintkanpping for 24 years and I run FlintKnappers.com. If you need some help, tools, or rock just ask. I teach flintknapping classes in Nashville TN too. I know lots of knappers across the USA. Might be a couple near you. It's always nice to have an experienced knapper to show you a few things in person. Otherwise, the best videos out there are on YouTube by Jim Winn, here's the link: www.youtube.com/user/paleomanjimGood chipping, Michael Miller

Michael is giving you the straight scoop there, Jim Winn makes the better videos on U-Tube. His videos are the most informative and easy to follow , check your neighborhood , you may find someone to hang out with that has a foot up on the hobby ! Don't forget to pick up some Super Glue and Bandaids to patch the leaks with.
