They look great! What's the green one near the top left. That's a real eye catcher!

About every year they bring in a giant jack hammer and break the glass out of the base of the furnace. A giant tub about 60' X 100' and 3 feet deep. Like 50 pound chunks of glass and they take it to the recycler. That is a small piece of that glass. I used to get chunks from the recycler till the management changed and quit letting me get it. It is dangerous to handle, they were concerned about their liability and can't blame them.

Even doing them "wrong" James puts me to shame. Got not one thing to do about James fish. It is all about the ability of the machine. Yes, abrasives/media/slurry plays a role. But the machine controls the quality more than anything. This vibe is so user friendly it is difficult to screw up a load.

You have modified that machine over and over to get it working the way you want it to and my hat is off to you for a fine job. Now I need to get off my butt and figure out what I can do to mine.

Ultravibe 10 so I may just play around with replacing the counterweight at the bottom of the shaft to try and smooth it out a bit. It is pretty hard on softer material.

It took a long time to figure out the problem. Modifying the machine did not take too much work. Which machine do you have ? Ultravibe 10 so I may just play around with replacing the counterweight at the bottom of the shaft to try and smooth it out a bit. It is pretty hard on softer material. Some how some way adding weight in the right place is a darn good bet. But add it too far from the vibration source can go the wrong way. My first attempt would be mounting a 3/8 to 1/2 inch thick disc of steel between the hopper and it's mounting base. Then see if the action is numbed. I would use minimum effort until you find the right set up. Then permanantize.
