I recently acquired a tumbler, which I believe someone made themselves, I am wondering where I could find a second drum for it, I have a small version of what looks like a Thumler 15lb drum, but is much shorter, and also the large one, I'd like to run 2 drums at once, but have had no luck finding a second smaller drum. Any ideas? I'll see if I can get a way to link photo's. It looks like this drum but is approximately 1/2 the length of the 15lb. rocktumbler.com/thumlers/model-b.shtmlAttachments:

Lortone sell a drum of different design (thick rubber) in a 6# or a larger 12# size. The 6# is 1/2 the 12# drum. Also probably you could contact thumbler and I am sure they would be willing to sell you one as well. Could hunt ebay for used tumbler barrel.

Sounds like a Scott-Murray barrel. Looks like the Thumlers 15 but only half as long. Sears made a similar knock off and I believe Montgomery Ward did as well. Might keep an eye out on eBay for a used one.
If you can post a picture of the one you are trying to match up we could be sure. I may have one out in my shed, but I want to see yours to be sure it's a match. Google it to see if that's the answer.
ETA Scott-Murray also made a barrel the size of the Thumlers 15 but it was divided in half - it had two liners inside the one barrel facing opposite directions. Both ends opened to feed both barrels.

It does sound like a Scott-Murray, just red instead of the green I see on google, the large one I have is a single drum, not double ended unfortunately. I'll try to resize the photo so its not so huge also.

I've got a half dozen of those double sided barrels, no need for them here. They came with an all-or-nothing deal.
