Mineral specimens were, and remain, my first true rock love. Malachite is one of my top 5 favorites to collect. Picked up 3 new pieces last night, thought I'd share here. eBay pictures as I haven't received them yet. (so pictures will expire someday) All from the Congo 6 x 4.5 x almost 2 inches - just shy of 2 lbs Largest piece - 6.5 x 4.25 x 4.5 inches - almost 3 lbs back side smaller piece 4.25 x 3.5 x almost 2 inches - almost a pound Gonna have to do some display case rearranging when they arrive. Something tells me that getting another display case wouldn't go over well. I'm good at sensing such things! Anyway, I like this stuff and thought I'd post these to get out of doing a project I have to do today anyway share the pics.

If you don't find room in your Cabinet for that first one, I would be glad to put it in mine.

Super cool.
The Congolese are in Quartzite with literally tons of super nice specimens similar to those.
Just sayin'.

It is my favorite. I can’t wait to get back to Jamaica. Made a Copper Mine owner contact I’m itching to go back and visit! He couldn’t take me out on the two days I had available. Can you imagine ‘Finding’ pieces like yours? It would make my year!
