adam, maybe you should put getting a car on your bucket list. Makes it easier to get to all those places you want to go.

hmmm... would have to think about this one. I have a lot of places I want to go. Some close, some far. Priority is all availability of funds and time off of work.

I have a place 5 min from my place where I fish on the San Joaquin River....I have found a lot of quartz but nothing else, but to me it is still fun. Further up I found a HUGE agate in a lake, but I don't get up there as much as I like, so that is on my list as well. Any spots in particular I should look??

That place where the gold vein slices through the flower Garden agate to pierce the malachite encrusted jasper with fractures caused by the intrusion of turquoise that displaced the opalized petrified wood. Sitting next the fulgurite.

Being so new and continuing to learn daily this list is subject to change rapidly:
1. Traveling in and out of country, over mountains & canyons, through washes, woods and rivers in search of the discovery of a NEW mineral, semi-precious, precious stone. 2. Finding my own museum grade, self collected specimens. Malachite is my top choice. My second would have been Tiffany Stone but that was found so now Variscite is second. A long list of amazing jaspers that I can't recall at the moment. 3. LOTS MORE RTH MEET N GREETS 4. One day waking up and feeling like I've retained my hobby skills to muscle memory (different software's, so many machines, metalsmithing, geology/mineralogy, etc) 5. Launching my own One Of A Kind Designer Dresses.
