Right now I'm interested in tumbling some broken depression dishes. Oh and the vase that was with the dishes. (Had to decide to save the dishes or myself! Sorry dishes 😉) It will make beautiful "sea glass." I will use it in my sun-catchers and wind chimes. Jim Price sent me over from a Facebook page. I will get some pictures when my garage warms up to at least 0°!!

Hi Bev, welcome from Michigan. I don’t care what people say about jamesp, I think he’s ok. If you have any specific questions about tumbling your glass, let us know. Glass is a little tricker to tumble, but if you’re just making it into something like beach glass, you shouldn’t have any problems. Just be careful to check the barrel for bulging. Glass can give off gas that causes barrels to explode. I just had this experience for th first time a couple months ago. My barrel didn’t explode, but the bottom was pushed way out.

We’ve got some decent rocks in this state to tumble if you ever decide to move beyond glass.
