As the winner of the 2017 contest, I feel it is my duty to make the following announcement. The application is now available for the 2018 tumbling contest. Be sure to enter as early as possible so you have extra time to finish your stones. First place gets $250 and a beautiful trophy! You also get bragging rights, which is priceless. Good luck to everyone this year. You can't win if you don't enter! 2018 Worldwide Tumbling Contest Info

Did you keep a tumbler to keep yourself in the competition or did you give the rest of us a chance?

Did you keep a tumbler to keep yourself in the competition or did you give the rest of us a chance? I still have a couple of QT66s, but have sold all my grit, ceramics and Lot-Os. So, technically, I still have a tumbler... icon_think

Hey, I got 72 out of 90 possible points. I think that's pretty good for my first "real" tumble! Tied for 10th place. What did I learn?
--More stuff in barrel! --Plastic beads are a pain! --Be sure there is nothing heavy around that can fall and squash your new barrel cover. Because it will.

Does any one know what Ramsey agate looks like? I know the last time I searched I didn’t find much.
