... and just for fun I cut a funky wedge shaped double Hauser Bed egg that we found two years ago on our January trip to Quartzsite. From a purely lapidary cabochon grade standpoint I'm not a big fan of the Hauser eggs - In general I don't see much that I would want to make a cabochon from. This piece however has all kinds potential and it has changed my perception of Hauser for the better.
