I would say its a Laker. I do not collect unfinished specimens so I would not even think twice about tossing it in the tumbler.

Definitely a LSA. The yellow and underlaying fortification is a result of weathering. you will have to tumble or cab to see if it is persistent. Interesting color I would recommend cabbing but that is my prejudice. Cabbing makes a more expensive stone.
