RTH'ers please come to Tony's booth Friday night around 6pm.
Tony is supplying some burgers but definitely bring food - bring what you want to eat, maybe something to throw on his grill.
Tony's Barbecue on Saturday has become a major event so Tony and Chris want to do something Friday night just for RTH people.

Did a little digging on the location...saw "desert" something...oohh...I like DESSERT! Sadly, it was then that I saw only one S!! Seems to be a bit far from me stuck all up here in frozen Michigan! 😕 |

It's at the North East corner of Desert Gardens.
It's next to a building on that corner that used to be Diamond Pacific's building.

Ok will try to make it. I have sodas and beer to bring, but it might just be a donation toward Saturday's party since it won't be cold. I might be pooped though - leaving LA at 3am tomorrow morning!

I was wondering what you were taking a photo of when I saw you walk behind the tent. Now I know.  Yep, very nice get-together tonight. It was great putting faces with user IDs and names. Looking forward to a good time tomorrow. |

Sure hope there are more pictures coming than just that of the backside of a tent!
Be super nice to see more pictures of the show in general. Those of us that have never been or can't make it there would love to see more of what we are missing. Consider it bait for getting us out there sometime!

You know, I never thought of taking photos of just rocks. Besides, I don't know enough about them to know what's exemplary or not. In fact, I think I only took 3 photos yesterday - one of orrum doing some demo work, Bluesky78987 picking through slabs, and one of my wife with a dog. I'll try to make a point of shooting some photos today, and I'll text Susan to have her take more photos, if she already hasn't. Besides, I saw your O.M.G. thread, and you've really set the bar.
