Equal used frying pans used from a thrift store $3 each. Equal so you could feel the temperature at the tip of the handle and compare the two heat levels. SDR 17 6" to 4" reducer, 4" cap. Cut the right side end cap way shorter for two different size barrels. Reducer $27, cap $25. About the same cost as 8". Note stainless dog food bowl with no-slip silicone heat pads for a fixture. I press them on the floor for plenty of down pressure. Cut snout off w/hand saw so a Fernco cap will fit. Ground weld bead off. Will coarse grind in 8" barrels, transfer out of thick slurry 8" barrel to 6" and do SiC 220 in these. Sawed short end cap

The little barrel. The cap on both of these is super thick SDR 11, the reducer side is thinner SDR 17(but still thick). Since the end cap is first to wear out on rotary barrels I intentionally used the SDR 11 end cap, it is a whopping 3/4 inch thick. Barrel should tumble Ninja throwing stars without wearing out.
