All,
Can I post the pics onto the main site - I always ask I know - but I prefer to get the Ok or not ok.
I think more pics on the site - arranged in an "Identifying Rocks" section for example, with each one clickable to link through to here could bring more visitors in to the board.
Let me know - Ive got a day or so of spare time at the mo with it being easter. Cheers Andy.

I would think you would get a resounding “Yes", since we all love what we do and sharing pics really boosts one's pride and it is sincerely a huge compliment even for you to ask. Perhaps I will have some in the future that will grace the main page of your sight. Until then I really keep learning, a lot from the folks here. Thanks Andy, for maintaining it.

Mine aren't the greatest but I figure once I put the pic here it's yours to use as you wish. Go for it.

I just stepped out of the cave in the last 3 months to aquire both a cell phone AND the internet. (My brother built a computer for me for my birthday or I wouldnt have that) Eventualy, I will have a digital camera and as proud as I am of my "babies" even if they are nothing to crow about, you will probably see them. Put them in the "Don't " section. ;D

I don't have any issues with it. I think it would be a great idea to have images of many of the different projects people are working on. before during and after, what your looking for in gemstones etc etc etc. OHHh one thing.. You really need links from the forums to the site. I never knew there was a main site till i seen this post then i looked under andy's profile to find the link to here... I found the forums with a websearch never seen the main page. www.rocktumblinghobby.com/index.html

Ok folks, I've got the ok from you kind people - I shall put up the new pages tomorrow. I'll start a new section on "identifying rocks" and get some kind of list up for visitors to browse what you have all done (and me of course ). It would be essence to get get every single kind of rock that exists listed and pictured - but thats only a strange dream given the variants and the fact that half the stuff we have hasnt even got a name. I'm not taking a scientific approach to www.rocktumblinghobby.com - i.e. I wont be showing the chemical composition of Malachite on there - just a picture..... I'll shout up once the pics are up and Ive restructured the site. Should be tomorrow unless someone starts wanting their PC fixing or a website doing...... work - I hate it. Andy.
