Just a few pictures of my latest purchases... also a few items for Andy's picture hunt, for him to add to the rock identification gallery... these are all going to be cabbed as soon as I get my workshop built...
<<The quarter was added to most pics to give a size reference.>>
I hope everyone enjoys these, and I'll try to post some pics once I get the workshop up and running, and start actually cutting these things... I'm becoming overloaded with rocks... ::laughs:: and this isn't counting the 40+ pounds of stones that Banjo is sending... going to have to build a new addition to the house, just to hold them all... but, I'm loving every minute of it...

Pic 1 - Seraphinite - My new favorite rock... beautiful green with silvery feathered inclusions...
Pic 2 - Rainbow Obsidian - Not a bad slab... still not sure what to make from it.
Pic 3 - African Picture Stone - Hopefully this will come out nice...
Pic 4 - Owyhee Picture Jasper - One of 6 smallish chunks that I recieved.
Pic 5 - Rough Moonstone - A friend's birthday is coming up, and she loves this rock... so going to make her something special...
Pic 6 - Mookaite Jasper - A very nice and colorful slab of one of the favorites...
Pic 7/8 - Malachite - These are two seperate pieces of Malachite that I've ordered. The first is layered, where as the second is a nice swirled slab.
Pic 9 - Larvikite - This is a weird stone that I purchased from a person in Tampa, Florida... got 7 large slabs of it, and it shimmers as if it had molten silver patched through it...
Pic 10 - Green Imperial Jasper - Can't wait to cut into this, and make some cabs... it has a pale yet regal look to it.
Pic 11 - Goldsheen Obsidian - A wickedly colored piece of obsidian that when caught just right, has golden trails running all through it.
Pic 12 - Fire Agates - These 3 little stones are one of my main attractions... can't wait to set these into something... they almost look like the are burning just beneath the surface.
Pic 13 - Caramel Moire Agate - Purchased this one semi-finished... the front side has been polished, and shows the amazing swirls and bends of the agate.
And last but not least...
Pic 14/15 - Biggs Picture Jasper - These pictures don't do the stone justice... the hills and valleys that can be seen in the stone is one of nature's wonders... it's like looking out into the desert landscape....
