Now when I took the rocks out of the tumbler I wasn't 100% happy with the shine so I got out some Turtle wax and polished them with that and got a great shine.

I got the Epidote at Ebersol's in Wichita. They do ship, here is the phone number in case you are interested.
(316)722-4771.

I first used aluminum and then I used cerium oxided. I mostly wanted to see if it would make a difference, and it did a little. The rocks were in the polish for almost 2 weeks.

i went to look on my calendar and the unakite i did went 21 days in cerium polish - maybe you didn't run it long enough - on the 12th day i have written "improving but...."

of course i clobbered the leopard skins to the point of no return in that 21 days too ;D

Very nice work Tami! Real pretty rocks, I'm sure you have plans for some of those and a bit of wire. You will do them justice for sure. Show us some finished wraps if you make any with them, I sure like the way you do them.

Basiclly what I did was I typed in wire wrapping and looked at pretty much all the sites that dealt with wire wrap jewelry, looked at the pieces on the website and then just let my creative juices flow, as well as my own electric energy. When you do this you need to remember to do it when you are in a good mood, your own electrical energy will change with the mood you are in and you will get different results.
