Awesome pictures. Looks like a blast. We have a Jeep sanctioned jamboree on Drummond Island every year. I don't have a wrangler but my dad has nicely modified JK we take out. You running 35's or 37's? yours look a bit bigger then the one in front of you.
This is a good sample of our terrain. Deep woods, lots of mud and lots of big rocks. Not as scenic as your stuff though.

Great pictures and vid. My BIL is big Jeep guy. He's love to do something that. Looks like fun.
My favorite though is the redneck Barbie car races.

Nice video, Chuck, certainly different terrain but looks fun. They run about 25 different trails here, I think there were about 400 vehicles for the three days. I'm actually sitting a little lower than the yellow one, that's my best friend. I'm on 35s, 2 /12" Long Arm. The yellow one has a 3" lift and 35s. Same two on our Oct vacation:

Would love to try some trails like that. Is it just sand at the base or is there sand on the way up too? We only have 47 miles of trails on the island designated for Jeeps but it has become a very big destination spot for Jeeping. On any given weekend there will be over a hundred jeeps riding around. Last year for one event we had over 600 cross the ferry in one day. We have about 100 miles of trails for ATV'S and snowmobiles which is what me and my kids are usually doing. I know they set a record for number of vehicles on the ferry last year. It was 100% full of jeeps. Chuck

That looks like a lot of fun. I’m going to order the new model soon. I can’t wait. My last Jeep was a 2001, so it’s been a while since I’ve had a new one. I’ve never done a jamboreee, the one Chuck showed is the closest one to me. I don’t think I’ll be able to afford to go after buying the Jeep.

One last hoorah then trade it in covered in mud with parts hanging off of it. Chuck

I sent the ferry picture to a close friend in MI, wondering if he's been there. They'll be out here next week, using my Jeep to get around. The area I showed is called Sand Mountain, just outside a state park. Miles and miles of trails from slick rock to deep sand dunes. We air down to 12-15 psi and it still gets sketchy at times. Lots of "steps" like in your video. Always fun to see newcomers jump out check there vehicles after a large drop, was there once!

The other really popular Michigan Jeep destination is in the lower peninsula. Silver Lake sand dunes. Here's a shot of my dads Jeep looking at the tallest dune. 8-10 pounds to get around in that stuff. Chuck

Most people with jeeps have a picture or two like that though. They make for good stories. Chuck

Nice sand hill there, we have those, can be a challenge.
A neighbor's son is tough on his 4x4s, there's a nice Ram 2500 sitting in the street with a cracked rim. I guess you don't have to be in MI for that type of thing.
Heard back from my friend in MI, never been to Drummond Island but it's on his bucket list. He remembers collecting Petoskey Stones and agate as a kid. He used his grandfathers tumbler until it died.
