Hey Brett, that is some nice looking work though. Did you buy the ring blank or did you cast it yourself? I would like to make some men's rings that but can't seem to see any way to do it without casting my own, and I'm not going to do that. I've already got way too much money in this!

I bought this ring at Rio Grande . It was all silver. I had to blacken it( can't remember what the process is called) with liver of sulfur. I know it sounds weird. Works great. Just heat the liquid up and stick the ring in. Turns the whole sucker black! Then just buff . Pretty easy

Hey Brett, that's a really nice looking ring. Is this Rio Grande place where you get your findings a web site?

Brett that is a beautiful piece of jewelry! Your photography is pretty good too! For those of you interested - here's the address to Rio - www.riogrande.com/ They have several catalogs - that 'supposedly' they charge $10.00 for - but if you call them - I understand they will send them out free of charge. They carry a lot of jewelry making supplies - tools, findings, etc. My metals instructor orders a lot of items from them for our class. Pat
