Was at a local event today, where one of the vendors was selling jewelry. She was telling people that all the Arizona Turquoise mines were exhausted, but the Turquoise from China was higher quality and nicer color, than the Arizona stuff. But then, she also said that dyed Bamboo Coral, was natural Red Coral.

I am sure there is some Truquoise from China that is very good quality, but most I have seen/had breaks easily and lacks the color or patterns of that from the well know Arizona mines.

Any thoughts on this?
