Is anyone else having trouble uploading photos? I do not have a Rock Gallery Acct., but sometimes want to post 1-3 photos that are not in Flickr Albums. Over the past three days, I have had to try to upload them for attachment, 3-5 times, before there is success. All of the photos are less than 500 k. After 5 attempts, I usually give up, come back later, and usually have success.

Hi, I've also been using it regularly and haven't experienced any issues at all - maybe it's a localized issue with your ISP? Keep us updated if it continues - or if anyone else experiences it please chime in.

It looks like you have your own website. Just upload them to your site in a folder reserved for linking photos to forums, etc. Then create a path in your post back to the photo. The advantage of hosting your photos is they display at full size. No clicking needed to see it full size.
Here's the code I put in a post to link to a photo stored on my site: img]http://www.playzar.com/rthphotos/Picasso.jpg[/img I left out the opening and closing brackets, otherwise you would see my photo, not the code I use. Lynn

Lynn I use my website to post on here if I want full size quality photos, for something quick the add attachment works just fine.

That's exactly what it was intended for and how I use it too - if I want to post something quick and easy I use the attachment - if I'm doing a trip report or a photos thread I'll upload them to either my personal domain or Rockshow gallery.

Yes, I use Flickr most of the time. Never had any problems prior to do a quick attachment that was not on Flickr.

Might have been a quick glitch. I was able to attach 3 photos yesterday, but it still took several attempts.

Lynn Hey Lynn, I just saw this post and your note about not having complete image tags so the photo doesn't show. In the future, if you need to show someone some code (and you don't want it to do something like show a photo), you can use the "insert code" button that's up with all of the other formatting buttons. It's the one that has a black "C" inside of a white box. When you press it, a box will appear in your post where you can place your complete code...like this (note that I used full "img" tags with both brackets): [img]http://www.playzar.com/rthphotos/Picasso.jpg[/img]
I'd have simply PM'd you, but I thought I'd place it in the open, in the event it may help someone else.
