..it's been too long, so long that I've stopped rock hounding or attempting to facet or tumble stones. Arthritis has taken it's toll on this old body of mine, Thus I'm getting rid of the three tumblers and what's left of the grit. (more polish than course grit)
Make me an offer but the offer must include shipping. if you need a detailed list of the tumblers I can have that for you directly. yes they still work but the larger one needs a bit of nudging to roll.

What does the 45-c need to run? Lortones are pretty easy to work on... Probably just a lose belt or adjustment of the motor.. Sorry to hear you giving up on your hobby, but understandable... Those should sell pretty fast...

I'm interested in the 45-C alone if the price is right and the work is minimal to get it running. I'm needing to upgrade to a dual 6lb tumbler and Lot-O so I don't want the whole batch. Understand if you want to sell only all of it at once.

Thanks for the interest. The issue with many of these lortone tumblers is that the barrels are not textured as to allow the turning rods to turn or rotate the barrel evenly. Although the turn rods have been heat shrink one still needs to add some sort of tack to the system to keep the barrels moving. This tumbler is about 10 years and yes it still rotates, but if one over fills the barrel it will stop. This is why we used the larger barrel to polish stones after the first few stages have been completed.
I would let the 45-C go for $60.00 Plus (a flat fee) $10.00 shipping based on where you are located. This would include the second barrel at no charge. Thats the tumbler & 2 barrels.

Sale Pending
Thanks For Viewing & the interest as this will be the last rock tumbling items I had left (other than boxes of rough stones laying about) as I had sold my home made faceting jig several years ago. But this doesn't mean i'm out of searching for rocks & minerals.
In fact 2 years ago while walking down a path in the forest nearest to our home, I located a feldspar type of rock, but once turned over and in the sunlight, small brown crystals all about the center of this stone. It's been on our back porch since. I may take a photo an post later.
