How hard is it? It looks like travertine.

The tumbled piece has a reflective shine, so I would say hard. Picture was taken on the kitchen at night so lighting not very good. Thanks

All I can say is some type of banded/bricia jasper with a quartz inclusion. Am not aware of specific location. Another long shot is pet wood. After looking at the colors and banding. There are many varieties of pet wood, which mimic jasper. It all depends on the end grain.
Wish I could help more.

The clay that forms the jasper portion of the stone is interesting. It's powder grey clay, but get it wet? It turns to blood.
