When I want to tie together salient points in a long thread discussion I often build a
"Thread Transporter."
For me, it is most convenient to open RTH in 2 windows and do the selecting of posts in the 2nd, editing in the 1st.
Here are the steps.
Start a new post in the 1st window, then go to the second and pick the first post you want to link.
1. Click on the cog wheel in the upper right hand corner to open the pop-up.
2. Select "Link to Post.
Copy the link to your clip board
3. Select the text you want the link to be applied to.
4. Press the link Button
5. Paste in the URL and continue on down your list.
Once the full list is completed, test it and make sure it is working correctly. This will open many windows.
I usually close them as fast as they open.
Finally copy and paste into each selected post, deleting the related
"Thread Transporter."
