The unknown looks a lot like old-time Canary Plume from Oregon.

The unknown looks a lot like old-time Canary Plume from Oregon. Thanks, that is the closest I've got to identifying it. If the Canary Plume is a pale lavender color with the yellow plumes then that is most likely what it is.

Yeah, that sounds like the body color of much of the material. Makes a nice contrast. There are plume agates from other places that have since had the "Canary Plume" name attached, but I'm just going by pieces I've seen. The stuff was never plentiful and has gotten rarer than hen's teeth (mined out 50 years ago, IIRC). I probably have a few small slabs tucked away, but no time to look for them (spring break guests). You did a great job on that piece (and the others). Do put a high price on it.

Thank you so much for the information rocks2dust,I will definitely put a higher price on it than what I had. So glad to be able to identify it!

Great cabbs. The yellow is definitely cool. Love the look of plume frozen in time forever.
