Hi All, My brother was in town and dropped off our dad's tumbler for me. Took a quick google look but didn't find anything. Anyone heard of it before? Tuffy Tumbler Manufactured by Lapidary Equipment Co. --Seattle-- There's still readable text on the motor. After I get it cleaned up I'll take some more pictures of it. He was using 2, 1 Quart paint cans ... but in my childhood I've never seen it run but once and even then not sure if he had anything in them. It looks like it would support 2 3lb barrels though.

If the motor runs, and you can find a good barrel it should be good. Curious if the 2 lortone model 33b barrels would fit here? Hard to say.

The 3lb lortone barrel I have looks like it'll fit just right! Can't wait to get it up and running! Just found this add from 1957 for the "Lapidary Equipment Co."

The rollers look very similar to the ones on my thumler's ar-2. If you could measure inside the end plates and let me know, I could tell you if thumler's 3lb barrels will fit. Actually, a better measurement would be from the center of the rubber parts on the shaft.

Looks like Thumler's to me too. Maybe call and see if they bought that company out or made tumblers for them. Or bought Beacon Star tumbler line. Diamond Pacific bought Beacon Star out but tumblers may have sold separately. Shafts and frame looks exactly like AR2 Thumlers to me. They are in same area.
