Oh, brrrr! Feeling sorry for you, Rich. I like my snow warm and dry. A snowman doesn't stand a snowball's chance in you-know-where here, lol.

Nice pictures Rich. Where's your place? I think we got the same storm over on Drummond Island. I was up for a few days but got out before the storm that is coming tonight. We don't mind snow though. We got out for some nice scenic walks while it was coming down. This shot is taken in my yard. I love the cedars and pines with the snow. Chuck

While everyone else is waiting for the snow to melt so they can go rockhounding, Chuck is finding his puddingstone under the snow!

Nice snow pictures, I'm just glad they are only pictures and I'm not in the snow. Guess I'm getting soft living here in Arizona. Hope you guys up north get better more spring-like weather soon.

Don't have to like it , just suffer through it . Great snowman snow this time of year . Too bad I had to fire up that truck and give it a workout .

My last trip up to the island last year was Thanksgiving weekend and it snowed and now my first trip up for this year was Easter weekend and it snowed. That's a pretty good chunk of time to deal with cold and snow. Looks like you guys got it even worse than we did. We got about 5-6" that day but I already had 8-10 on the ground before that storm. Hey at least when the snow clears the wind will blow! Hope it clears pretty soon , added another 8-9 inches today . Might be able to hit the river banks and gravel pits in a month or three .

I managed to get the flip flops out during a bass tournament last weekend on Lake Powell. It was a rough trip I tell yah. Cold beer, sunshine and some ferocious bass.

Glad to hear you're toughin out those miserable weather conditions . No need for the flimsy flippy flop things here , pac boots are the preferred footwear . Beer is all froze so have to wait for some of that global warming to hit . Surely no need for sunglasses today , someone pulled the shade over the sun again . As for the feisty bass , we take a different approach around here . No need for one of them fancy high buck bass boats and all the expenses that come along with them . An ice auger is our weapon of choice to get us to the fish , grocery store as a backup plan .

Darn mild winter and someone maybe the wife threw out my auger. No hurt feelings here though. I am beginning to enjoy northern Arizona when it's cool around here. Made a few cuts on some pigeon blood today, sure is pretty and fractured.

Made a few cuts on some pigeon blood today, sure is pretty and fractured. That global warming caught up to us a bit the past few days . Spent Saturday at a rock show , came away from there a little dehydrated from the drooling I was doing , and a bit lighter in the pocket . Suspected the snow might be gone in one of the pits we frequent , was right . Spent about 5 hours crawling around on the rocky slopes in the blazing sun pickin rocks , it was in the 60s . Beautiful weather for a change and was sure nice to get out and add to the rock pile . Plan to get back over there if it rains this week , lots of potential . The way this crazy so called spring has been going , haven't braved getting the saw out yet . Starting to get overrun with rocks .
