After talking with a friend about the joys of clamping and wedging oddball shaped rocks in a vice , we decided he needed some jigs for holding them . So off to the shop I went and made up a couple that might suit his needs . T eggs , geodes or just weird shaped rocks , should have it covered . Comments welcome . Thanks for lookin

That is some serious work judging from the pic and the deck railing. What size saw is he using, what would you say the max diameter of rock you can stuff in these? Nice workmanship welds look good no one could say it is a flimsy build a short vid on being used would be cool.

He is using an 18" saw . The big steel jig will hold roughly a 7x8 inch rock . The grabber is adjustable and will hold from a couple inch to about six inch . As for a video , took me awhile to figure out how to post a picture .
