It was warm out and I decided my shoulder was up for cutting some rocks so I took out my 7" tile saw and cut a few nodules I got at Fourth of July Butte, AZ a few years ago. Most of the nodules were too small to do much with or duds but there were a few that looked almost like Botswana agates. It's just too bad they were so tiny. A small nodule with some moss agate in it And One weirdo that I found in the top of the box but I think it got put there by mistake and is really from Lavic Siding My shoulder complained after I got done but at least I had some fun.

Ya know? I have been to 4th of July and only found a flake of agate. Maybe you weren't looking in the right spot. There is agate there but it is harder to find than it used to be. You also have to know what to look for because these nodules are not usually very big at all.
