maybe we could direct the the Hubble telescope to concentrate a beam at the moon carve it into a pyramid ?

Well I was just thinking: that the round shape as been around for a long time and it would be an honor to the ancients to pyramize it
And maybe in the year 2525 those folks will look up in the sky & wonder ? how did those wireless fools do that?

I recall reading about the Siege of Syracuse & Archimedes ingenious use of mirrors to set Greek triremes aflame
I guess the mythbusters show ‘ & other higher learning institutes Have tried the experiment w/ varying degrees of success… mostly

mohs , I'd forgotten about Archimedes' fire weapon. That shows the principle was known in fairly ancient times. I doubt Archimedes was the first to discover it. I'll be sure to take a few baggies with me next time I'm on one of those "survival" TV shows. But there's a downside: "Don't know why, there's no sun up in the sky, stormy weather."
