It took a long time but I finally got through my first tumbling. The advise on this forum has been great.
I wound up ordering a Lott-o from The Rock Shed. As many of said, it made a big difference with the results that I was getting. I used stacked step stones held together with paint for the heavy base. This seemed to work pretty good.
Will continue working on improving tumbling while trying to polish cabs. This is a fun adventure too.

Those look good. Nice mix of colors. It gets easier each batch.
